Farewell and Goodbye

After reliably, professionally and with dedication from 2001 to 2011, Long Reach Cruises is no longer providing excursion boat services to the Maine Maritime Museum and its many visitors.

In 2011, the Maine Maritime Museum administration unilaterally decided to make other arrangements for excursion vessel services.

Over these many years, Capt. Mike Kiernan, and all of the captains, deckhands, and office staff have enjoyed the opportunity to share the history and beauty of the waterways on the coast of Maine with thousands of visitors and natives alike.

We wish all of our many friends, business associates, vendors and most of all the many passengers it has been our pleasure to serve; "fair winds and following seas".

Our 11th Season begins June 19, 2010

Spring has sprung in Maine and all thoughts turn to the Sea. Our crew has spent the last few weeks preparing our award-winning cruise boat the SAGADAHOC for another season sharing the wondrous sites, sounds, smells and breezes of the beautiful coast of Maine with visitors far & wide who will come aboard the Sagadahoc to partake in the "Maine Experience". We are excited to have planned a great variety of cruises from short to long with something for everyone from wildlife to lighthouses.

Our 2010 Season begins fittingly on "Mariners Day" June 19th.
